Descripción:

The EU Aid Volunteer will be hosted by WEWORLD-GVC Guatemala, responsible of coordination and implementation of activities at national level. The EU Aid Volunteer will also work in direct coordination with local and international partners members of the Humanitarian Consortium aiming to building local community resilience to disasters.

Task

Administration and accounting support to the project manager

  • Support the country administrator, in coordination with the local accountants, in the maintenance of documents relating to the project activities, reporting and organization’s archive, under the supervision of the country representative;
  • Support the project manager in the accounting of the project in relation to: expenditure plan, accounting management;

Activities, planning and coordination

  • Organize and implement the monthly programming work with the coordinator;
  • Participate and support all the other activities required for the proper development of the GVC mission;
  • Participate to the team coordination meetings

Descripción:

DRC Colombia is seeking for a motivated person to support across DRC Colombia humanitarian program portfolio. The Reporting is fully responsible to ensure that all information and data from the field is captured, documented, analyzed and reported in a results-based and timely manner for donors and internal purposes for DRC Colombia. This includes, but is not limited to, heavy support finalizing grants, communication and information management, as well as programs team in other tasks. He/she will work closely with the Grant Management and Development Coordinator and Programme teams to identify and develop appropriate reporting methods to communicate to relevant audience. This position has a country focus and will ensure compliance to DRC procedures and guidelines within the country.

Tasks

  • Review and refine programme monitoring and reporting tools in line with Restless Development’s M&E system and donor requirements.
  • Assist – and eventually coordinate – all aspects of programme monitoring and reporting ensuring data is of high quality and produced on time.
  • Aggregates all monthly qualitative and quantitative data from Regional Programme Offices (RPOs) into Country Status Report and Country Database respectively Programme monthly and quarterly reporting.
  • Collect articles, case studies, best practices across projects for evidence gathering and format so they are suitable for external audiences.
  • Assist the M&E Manager in designing and coordinating baselines, evaluations, Quarterly staff workshops, and trainings.

Descripción:

Movement for Peace – MPDL (Spain) and ADICE (France) are non-profit organizations with extensive experience in the fields of development and humanitarian aid which are jointly implementing the project “EU Aid Volunteers: deployment of MPDL volunteers for peacebuilding and women’s rights” together with 5 other organizations in third countries. The project aims at enhancing the EU capacity to provide needs-based humanitarian aid in vulnerable and disaster-affected communities in six countries: Colombia, Guatemala, Peru, Jordan and Morocco. The hosting organization for this position, MPDL Colombia, operates since 1997, accompanying victims of the conflict in the processes for their rights. MPDL Colombia has boosted the development of civilian’s initiatives intended to transform structural circumstances behind the conflict, aiming to promote protection, restoration of rights and reparation of victims affected by the war as well as of the most vulnerable population. This extensive experience has enabled the consolidation of a comprehensive model of peace-building, benefiting about 7.700 people. Their strategy and work lines have been adapted to the post-conflict context: governance and peacebuilding, gender dimension and Human Rights. To assist in the implementation of the communication plan and private fundraising strategies in MPDL Colombia.

  • To support in the execution of communication activities in the projects of MPDL Colombia.
  • To prepare institutional documents: dossiers, leaflets or similar.
  • To write news for the website and update its contents.
  • To manage our social networks.
  • To elaborate audiovisual and photographic material.
